The Odes of 6th Century BC Greek poet Anacreon, printed by legendary typographer and printer Giambattista Bodoni – considered one of his most famous and beautiful works. Bodoni supposedly printed only sixty copies of this book to present to his friends (though some say about 300+ copies were printed). According to a British catalogue from 1791 (just six years after the book was printed), the book was already scarce and very expensive even in Italy by then.
