GOHD Books will no longer be at Haji Lane from 31 Oct 2010 onwards, and we have begun taking our books back to Pasir Panjang, where most of our collection is. And as usual, anyone is welcome to browse the books at Pasir Panjang, although visits are on a by-appointment basis only.

Seriously, though...IT'S TRUE. GOHD has put 1,000 or so of our books in 49 Haji Lane, which is also the home of the good PAPER PEOPLE and the legendary STRAITS RECORDS. This is some truly happening news - 'happening' being something quite novel for us, pun not intended - and we hope you guys will drop by when you venture to the Arab Street area.

Meanwhile, the Pasir Panjang place continues to run as usual. Our rare books remain here, together with the books that couldn't find space at Haji Lane. Meaning, a LOT of books. The by-appointment system still stands, and our language classes are still running.

GOHD Books has gone green! Starting today, all our books will be mailed in RECYCLED ENVELOPES, or packages made of recycled/reused materials from our very own storehouse! Frankly. we're tired of having so much waste paper around, so why not re-use it to save the environment!
