A lovely collection of tales for children, with every page decorated in colour.
Title: Japanese Fairy Tales (First series)
Author: Teresa Peirce Williston, Sanchi Ogawa (illus)
Publisher: Rand McNally & Co., Chicago. No date, research reveals it to be 1904. First edition.
Condition: Hardcover, pictorial cloth. Very good. A few German stories seem to have been mistakenly bound with the book, at the back, adding a few more pages to the 74-page Japan book. Probably a binder’s error. Slight tanning to book. With every page decorated in colour, and eight colour plates.
