About this edition:
This edition of The Bible, at 5″x2.5″ (24mo), has the distinction of being named “one of the smallest Bibles ever printed” in William Pickering’s Catalogue of Biblical, Historical and Classical Manuscripts and of Rare and Curious Books (1834). The catalogue also notes that this edition is ‘scarce’. Although this copy is hardly readable, and smaller Bibles have been printed since, the edition was unique for its time and would be a point of interest for any collection.
