Qiuxue got her BA in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language from the Beijing Language and Cultural University, afterward teaching at the Civil Aviation Management Institute of China (Beijing). Following that, she received a scholarship to do her Masters Degree at the National University of Singapore, which she has just completed. During her postgraduate studies, she received the NUS Teaching Award for tutors.
